Digital Marketing Specialist

The Digital Marketing Specialist is responsible for managing and optimizing Articulate’s paid acquisition channels and identifying opportunities to optimize conversion throughout the entire customer journey. This role reports to and works closely with our Director of Demand Generation.

In this role, you will plan, implement, monitor, optimize, analyze, and report on all paid acquisition efforts as well as implement effective SEO strategies across all Articulate web properties and content. You will be responsible for driving landing page and website conversion optimization. You’ll also gather and analyze marketing data across channels, identify the most significant areas for conversion improvements, and work cross-functionally to implement strategies to capitalize on these opportunities.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Execute paid social, PPC, display, and remarketing campaigns
  • Manage paid acquisition campaigns to KPIs and report on performance
  • Continuously analyze paid acquisition performance, deriving insights and recommendations
  • Gather and analyze marketing data to develop insights, make recommendations on areas for optimization, and report on findings from A/B test data
  • Drive and monitor A/B testing and landing page and website optimizations in conjunction with web dev and marketing ops
  • Proactively work with web ops and web dev to make sure web properties are properly instrumented for A/B testing, conversion tracking, and reporting
  • Stay on top of keyword research and make both structural and keyword recommendations to maximize SEO across all web properties and content
  • Proactively communicate with peers and leadership on plans, progress, and problems


  • 1-2 years of experience in digital marketing (paid acquisition experience preferred)
  • Familiarity with B2B software sales and search engine marketing is a plus
  • Strong analytical skills and interest in reporting and data analysis to extract meaning and present recommended actions; experience with statistical analysis is a bonus
  • Experience using Microsoft Excel to manage and analyze data
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills when working with teammates who may be either data-driven or more qualitative
  • Detail-oriented, persistent, and curious
  • Ability and desire to learn quickly and troubleshoot problems
  • Ability to work independently while also functioning and contributing as part of a team
  • Positive, empathetic, driven, collaborative, flexible, and confident
  • Four-year college degree or equivalent experience
